Incident at Over Point Lepreau (Security acts)

Summary

2005-03-14: Point Lepreau power plant security called inquiring about a very low flying single engine aircraft; white with blue stripe. At times the aircraft was at tree top height. He advised that Point Lepreau is enclosed by a fence and the aircraft was, at times, flying along tree tops inside the fence perimeter. Advised him SJ FSS had a flight plan on a C172 doing a low level survey from west of Saint John (CYSJ) along route to CYSJ at 1915Z. Requested form Halifax (CYHZ) FIC color of C-GMME C172 doing the survey. Flight plan shows aircraft white with blue stripe. C-GMME called inbound at 1941Z. He advised that they were doing low level survey over Point Lepreau aprx 25 minutes previous. I advised that we received complaint. Pilot advised that they had call CYHZ FIC prior and asked that they call Point Lepreau and advise them of the flight. Nil TSB
