Incident at 20 minutes east of 55N/50W


2005-02-28: AFR6406 B747-200 enroute Paris (LFPG) to Chicago (KORD) at 31,000 feet, declared a ""PAN"" at 0109Z, approximately 20 minutes east of 55N/50W,due engine trouble. Flight requested to descend to 28,000 feet but was advised unable an IFR clearance due eastbound traffic. Flight elected to stay at 31,000 feet until in radar coverage. Aircraft continued on to destination. TSB Case Closed
