Incident at DEER LAKE NL (CYDF)

Summary

2005-02-24: CGZSV C152 VFR training flight in the east training area of Gander (CYDF) airport, returned to field and landed at approx 1550 UTC without landing information. Flying school instructor called to report that pilot had possible communication failure. No traffic at the time of landing. Nil TSB
2005-03-09: Maintenance & Manufacturing Update: The Flight Instructor for this student was not able to duplicate any fault with the radio, nor could the company maintenance people find any fault, however the radio was removed, inspected and checked serviceable with an entry made in the book to that effect. As well there have been no more reports of radio problems with this Aircraft since this occurrence.
