Incident at MIRAMICHI NB (CYCH)

Summary

2005-02-07: At a position 35 NM south of CYCH (Miramichi, NB) on the return leg of a round robin flight C-GROE (C-172) reported alternator problems to Moncton ACC. Aircraft initially elected to divert to CYCH, but the pilot changed his mind and continued to destination Debert NS. C-GROE landed Debert at 1827. Nil TSB.
2005-02-11: Maintenance and Manufacturing Update: Pilot reset alternator & it remained operational for remainder of flight. Maintenance inspected and tighten a ground wire. No repeat of problem in 6+ hours flown since.
