Incident at SAINT JOHN NB (CYSJ)

Summary

2005-02-03: CGMME reported on the roll runway 32 in Saint John, then slowed down, and reported taxiing back to the Atlantic Flight Center. The pilot advised that the window latch had fallen off the aircraft as he applied full throttle and the window had opened. The airport Maintenance department was notified, and Staff 27 spent approximately 30 minutes searching the runway and taxiways used by the aircraft. The latch was not found. CGMME departed for CCN2 at 2214 without further incident. Nil TSB .
2005-02-11: Maintenance and Manufacturing Update: Window secured closed. Replacement parts on order.
