Incident at ST. JOHN'S INTL NL (CYYT) (Aerodrome, runway or taxiway shutdown)


2005-02-08: Aerodrome Safety Update: The vehicle in question was from NAVCAN, which was out there to check and see if their instruments required snow clearance. Apparently his vehicle became so buried it required 30-45 minutes to be removed. The 727 decided to go elsewhere.
2005-01-31: The Kelowna Flightcraft Boeing 727 (KFA288) was unable to land on the active runway at St. John's due to a truck stuck on the runway. Aircraft diverted to Halifax. Runway closed from 1520Z to 1610Z.
