Incident at SAINT JOHN NB (CYSJ)

Summary

2005-01-10: The Moncton Flight College Cessna 172 (C-GTDI) was on an IFR training flight from Moncton to Saint John returning to Moncton. After completing an instrument approach to runway 05 at Saint John, the pilot reported a smell of smoke. Aircraft was immediately cleared for an unrestricted approach to Saint John and landed at 0343z. Pilot did not declare an emergency. ARFF checked the aircraft on taxiway BRAVO and the aircraft then taxied to the Flight Centre.
