Accident at Matheson Lake

Summary

2003-09-04: The water surface at Matheson Lake was glassy when the float-equipped Cessna 206, C-GNLL, was on the takeoff run. The aircraft did not become airborne and the pilot elected to reject the takeoff. As the aircraft decelerated it entered an area of shallow water with rocks, and the floats sustained substantial damage. The three occupants were not injured.
