Accident at STETTLER AB (CEJ3)

Summary

2003-09-02: The pilot of C-GPLB, a homebuilt Jungster biplane, was landing at Stettler for a fly-in breakfast when the left main gear collapsed, causing pilot to lose control. The aircraft went off the side of the runway and flipped over in a ditch. The aircraft suffered damage to the wing and the pilot was uninjured. RCMP were summoned and the aircraft is being removed. The pilot was not injured.
2003-09-04: UPDATE TSB reported that the amateur-built Jungster 1 biplane replica was landing on Runway 25 at Stettler, AB (CEJ3) when the left main gear collapsed. The aircraft swerved off the side of the runway into a ditch, and overturned. The pilot, who was the sole occupant was uninjured, and the aircraft sustained substantial damage to the prop, wings, and tail.
