Summary

2003-08-29: N14269, a Piper PA-18 Cub, was VFR on a flight from Red Deer to Dawson Creek with a stopover in Whitecourt. The pilot first called the Whitecourt FSS when 3 NM southeast of the airport and then landed without incident. An R22 helicopter was conducting circuits at the time. The pilot of N14269 advised the FSS that he had filed a NORDO flight plan with Edmonton FIC because he only had a hand held radio.
