2003-08-28: The crew of ACA 6040, an A319 departing Winnipeg for Toronto, reported a birdstrike just after rotation. Airport staff inspected the runway and found a barn swallow.
2003-11-07: UPDATE Aerodrome Safety reported that Winnipeg has an ongoing bird and wildlife control program which was in effect at the time. The bird was identified and disposed of.
