Incident at WINNIPEG / JAMES ARMSTRONG RICHARDSON INTL MB (CYWG)
2003-08-27: UPDATE TSB reported that on approach into Winnipeg from Toronto, the crew of C-GMMA, a Learjet 35, did not recieve a gear down and locked indication on the left main landing gear. The crew declared an emergency, then performed the alternate landing gear selection procedure, and landed uneventfully. A subsequent inspection revealed a burnt out landing gear light bulb. The bulb was replaced and the aircraft returned to service.
2003-08-26: C-GMMA, a Lear 35, was on descent into Winnipeg on a flight from Toronto when the crew declared an emergency due to an unsafe gear indication for the left main gear. The flight subsequently landed safely with AFF on standby. TSB will contact the owner.
