Summary

2003-08-28: UPDATE Maintenance and Manufacturing reported that the problem was traced to the gear selector handle mechanism. The fault recurred one in ten retraction/extension cycles and the unit was subsequently replaced. An SDR and cycle control data information have been requested by M. & M. this date.
2003-08-25: SGK 758, a Beech 1900, was on approach to Runway 13 at Winnipeg when the crew declared an emergency due to an unsafe gear indication. The flight landed safely and one other a/c was slightly delayed. The cause of the problematic indication is not known.
