Incident at EDMONTON / COOKING LAKE AB (Water) (CEE7)

Summary

2003-08-26: UPDATE Trenton RCC reported that the search involved 3.5 hours of intense investigation by CFB Trenton, Edmonton FIC, 3 Alberta RCMP detachments and a CASARA aircraft.
2003-08-25: Edmonton FIC advised the military Search and Rescue Centre of an overdue a/c on a flight from Hanna to Cooking Lake. A CASARA a/c was tasked and after an extensive search, C-GSPR, an amateur built Rutan Vari Eze, was found parked inside a locked hangar at Cooking Lake.
