Summary

2003-11-04: UPDATE Aerodrome Safety reported that the bird was identified as a small Bunting. There is an ongoing wildlife control program at Yellowknife airport.
2003-08-20: After arriving on Runway 09 at Yellowknife, the pilot of the Cessna Caravan, AT 222, reported a bird strike. The remains of a small bird were found on the runway. There was no reported damage to the a/c.
