Incident at ISLAND LAKE MB (CYIV)

Summary

2003-08-20: PAG 113, a Metro II, struck a raven on arrival on Runway 30 at Island Lake airport. The APM reported that there was no damage to the aircraft and one raven was removed from the engine air intake.
2003-11-07: UPDATE Aerodrome Safety reported that the Island Lake airport has a limited wildlife control program. This is considered to be an unusual event, as ravens usually remain clear of airports and aircraft. There was no damage to the a/c.
