Incident at WHITECOURT AB (CYZU)

Summary

2003-10-30: UPDATE Aerodrome Safety reported that the Whitecourt airport has an ongoing bird and wildlife control program in place. The a/c in this occurrence did not receive any damage from this bird strike.
2003-08-11: The earthly remains of a poor, small bird were found on the runway at Whitecourt. The pilot of C-FZHG, a Piper Navajo, who was returning to Whitecourt from Rocky advised that he may have hit the bird earlier in the day. He noticed blood on the windshield after arriving in Rocky.
