Incident at FALL RIVER NS (Water) (CFR3)

Summary

2003-08-08: SARSAT and high fliers picked up an active ELT signal in the Bremner, AB area, near Edmonton. A CASARA vehicle was dispatched to locate the source of the signal and it was homed to C-GKLL, a parked Zenair CH300. Apparently, weather had tripped the ELT in the a/c, which was parked in an open hangar. The ELT was turned off; search time 2.5 hours.
