Incident at CALGARY INTL AB (CYYC)
2003-08-27: UPDATE Maintenance and Manufacturing reported that the Sunwest Home Aviation Quality Assurance Manager advised that the landing gear would not retract because the hydraulic motor circuit breaker had tripped. Maintenance re-set the breaker and could not duplicate the problem. A corroded connector found during trouble-shooting was repaired. Note: the defect recurred 4.2 hours / 5 cycles later.
2003-07-28: After departure from Calgary, the crew of CNK 242, a Beech King Air, received an unsafe gear indication. The aircraft did a tower fly-by, returned and landed 5 minutes after departure. Emergency Services were standing by.
