Incident at EDMONTON INTL AB (CYEG) (TCAS alert)
2003-07-21: GDUR was southbound to Sprinbank at 7500 VFR. WZP6220 was northbound on descent to 5000. Traffic was passed to both aircraft. GDUR was vectored to the west to increase spacing with WZP6220. GDUR had the traffic in sight. As the aircraft passed, WZP6220 advised that he had received an RA and was climbing. The aircraft passed with 2nm lateral separation in an area where 1 nm is required.
2003-07-24: ANS & Airpsace advised that Nav Canada reports no further action planned. Separation was not compromised. The incident was reported because a TCAS resolution advisory message was generated.
