Incident at REGINA INTL SK (CYQR)

Summary

2003-07-18: UPDATE Maintenance and Manufacturing reported that the gear motor drive coupler to the transmission de-coupled. The only option left was to manually crank the gear down. The gear motor/transmission assembly has been sent out for overhaul. An SDR will be submitted.
2003-07-15: The pilot of C-FBFM, a Piper PA-30 Twin Comanche, reported that he was unable to extend or retract the landing gear. The gear was then lowered manually and a low pass made past the Control Tower. The aircraft landed safely without further incident. No other aircraft delayed. ERS responded.
