Incident at LA RONGE (BARBER FIELD) SK (CYVC)

Summary

2003-07-16: UPDATE TSB reported that a faulty squat switch in the landing gear system resulted in the gear not being able to be retracted. The switch gave a false indication that the a/c was still on the ground even after takeoff, causing the gear to remain locked down.
2003-07-14: C-FZPJ, a Piper Navajo, departed La Ronge for Pinehouse Lake and shortly after takeoff, the pilot reported that he could not retract the gear. The flight returned and landed uneventfully at 1517Z. The cause of the gear problem is not known.
