Incident at WINNIPEG / JAMES ARMSTRONG RICHARDSON INTL MB (CYWG)

Summary

2003-07-14: The crew of C-GAJS, a Lear 35 with 4 people on board, conducted an overshoot to Runway 31 at Winnipeg due to an unsafe indicaton on the right main gear. The aircraft did a visual circuit to enable the AFF to proceed to stand-by positions. The flight landed safely at 0434Z and no other aircraft were inconvenienced. TSB will be contacting the company.
2003-07-16: UPDATE TSB reported that a burned out light bulb in the gear indication system was the cause of the problem.
