Incident at KUGLUKTUK NU (CYCO)

Summary

2003-07-14: KBA 110, an EMB 110, was inbound to Kugluktuk (YCO) from Cambridge Bay when the a/c lost transmit radio capability approximately 50 NM out of CYCO. The crew made low pass over the airport and landed without incident. The cause of the radio failure is not known.
2003-07-16: UPDATE Maintenance and Manufacturing reported that the Captain's audio box failed. The unit was replaced and the aircraft returned to service.
