Incident at EDMONTON INTL AB (CYEG)
2003-06-27: CNK 341, a Beech Super King Air 300, was inbound to Edmonton when the crew reported a faulty gear indication. They did a missed approach across the apron to have Tower personnel do a visual gear check. The gear appeared to be extended normally and the aircraft landed safely on Runway 02 with CFR on standby. TSB will contact the operator.
2003-07-07: UPDATE TSB reported that the Sunwest Home Aviation Beech 300 aircraft, registration C-GPPC, was inbound for landing at Edmonton International Airport. The crew reported an unsafe landing gear indication and did a missed approach to allow the Tower to do a visual check. The gear appeared normal, and a safe landing was completed with AFF on standby. It was later discovered that a landing gear indicating lamp was faulty.
