Incident at BRANDON MUNI MB (CYBR) (Incursion - runway - animal)

Summary

2003-06-26: The crew of CFC 341, a military CC-130 Hercules, was required to delay their takeoff at Brandon and land long on one subsequent landing due to a coyote on the field.
2003-07-04: UPDATE Aerodrome Safety reported that this was the third reported mammal event at the Brandon Airport since May 14. The coyote always crossed Runway 08/26 at the south west corner of Runway 08 and then proceeded in a northeast direction. Airport Authorities at Brandon were hopeful that this young male would eventually move away, but he continues to constitute a hazard to aviation safety. The APM has no choice but to remove the coyote by whatever means possible.
