Incident at EDMONTON CITY CENTRE / BLATCHFORD AB (CYXD)

Summary

2003-06-26: The pilot of C-GEZA, an R22 helicopter on a local VFR flight near City Centre Airport, was instructed to remain north of the Runway 30 departure path due to departing traffic, C-GYJI, a Cessna 152. C-GEZA did not follow the ATC instruction, and came in close proximity to the departing traffic about 1/4 mile from the threshold of Runway 12.
2015-04-13: UPDATE TSB reported that the E-Z Air Inc. Robinson R22 helicopter, registration C-GEZA, was operating in the vicinity of Runway 30 at Edmonton City Centre (YXD) airport. The pilot was instructed to remain north of the Runway 30 departure path due to a departing Harv's Air Service Cessna 152 registration C-GYJJ. C-GEZA did not hold short as instructed, and came in close proximity to the departing Cessna.
