Incident at WHITECOURT AB (CYZU)

Summary

2003-06-24: While on final approach to Runway 29 at Whitecourt, the pilot of the homebuilt Cuby, N487JC, reported that the engine had quit. He was able to glide the aircraft to a safe landing and managed to roll off the runway onto a taxiway. Once the aircraft had stopped, the pilot got out and hand-propped the aircraft so he could taxi to the ramp. No impact on other aircraft. No equipment was required.
