Summary

2003-07-04: UPDATE Aerodrome Safety advised that the La Ronge Airport Authority has a bird and wildlife program in effect. Once they were advised of the event, airport personnel began to patrol the area where the deer was seen entering the bush. A mechanical popper (noisemaker) was set up in the same area to help keep these mammals away from the airport and runways. The deer so far have stayed away.
2003-06-20: After landing on Runway 18 at La Ronge, the crew of CNK 1051 reported that a deer crossed the runway in front of them. No evasive action was necessary and the Airport Manager was advised.
