Incident at CALGARY INTL AB (CYYC)

Summary

2003-07-04: UPDATE Aerodrome Safety reported that the company advised that the bird in question was a Red tailed hawk and that the aircraft was undamaged by the strike. The wildlife people at Calgary have been unable to locate the remains of the bird.
2003-06-12: The crew of GLR 7255, a Beech 1900, reported striking a hawk at 5,000 feet ASL, 8.5 NM final for Runway 34 at Calgary. No information regarding damage to the aircraft was reported.
