2003-06-16: UPDATE TSB reported that the Beech 100, C-GJHW operated by Transwest Air as flight TW 250, was en route when the crew observed the left engine low oil pressure light illuminate, and the oil pressure indication below the minimum limit. The crew shut down the engine (Pratt & Whitney PT6A-28) and returned to La Ronge without further incident. Company maintenance found the oil dipstick was not properly secured, allowing oil to leak out. The engine was cleaned, re-serviced with oil, and the aircraft was returned to service.
