Incident at THOMPSON MB (CYTH)

Summary

2003-06-06: UPDATE Maintenance & Manufacturing was advised that an inspection of the aircraft determined that a faulty relay and diode were the cause of the difficulty. Wiring repairs were also made in the R/H main gear well.
2003-06-04: SGK 680, a Beech King Air 100 with 13 people on board, was departing Lac Brochet for Brochet when the crew found that the landing gear would not retract. They elected to divert to Thompson where the crew reported an unsafe gear indication and requested assistance. AFF was notified. SGK 680 landed safely at 2005Z and was subsequently towed off the runway. TSB reported that maintenance discovered a faulty relay switch in the gear system, and it is being repaired.
