Incident at ISLAND LAKE MB (CYIV)

Summary

2003-06-04: UPDATE TSB reported that maintenance discovered a broken wire on the gear indication system in the wheel well.
2003-06-02: SGK 335, a Cessna 414 with 4 people on board, was on a flight from Winnipeg to Island Lake (YIV) when the pilot decided to divert to Thompson (YTH) due to a gear problem while on approach at YIV. AFF was notified and the aircraft landed safely at YTH at 1902Z. Runway 05/23 was closed for 15 minutes. TSB will be contacting the company.
