Summary

2003-06-04: UPDATE Aerodrome Safety reported that the gulls were lured to the wet runway surface because of the buffet meal of worms that appears with the moisture. Winnipeg Airport has an ongoing wildlife control program.
2003-06-02: WJA 132 and PAG 206, departures from Winnipeg International Airport, were delayed five minutes to allow airport duty personnel to evict numerous seagulls from the runway surface.
