Incident at RED DEER REGIONAL AB (CYQF)

Summary

2003-06-02: UPDATE Nav Canada amended it's original report to advise that the pilot taxied the aircraft back to the hangar after the runway excursion.
2003-05-30: A student pilot was flying circuits at Red Deer airport and on one of his touch and go's, he appeared to lose control of the aircraft and veered into the grass area beside the runway. There was no injury to the pilot and the aircraft appeared to be undamaged. The pilot was able to taxi the aircraft back onto the runway and continued with his flying. No impact on the operation and no damage to airport equipment.
