Incident at EDMONTON INTL AB (CYEG)

Summary

2003-05-30: The crew of NCB 171, a Beech King Air 100, reported a possible bird strike on landing at Edmonton International Airport. Airport staff found a Redtail Hawk on the runway. There was no damage to the aircraft.
2003-06-03: UPDATE Aerodrome Safety reported that there was minor damage to the wing leading edge boot. The a/c was assessed as safe to fly and the boot will be changed in a couple of weeks. Edmonton International Airport has an ongoing wildlife control program.
