Incident at YELLOWKNIFE NT (CYZF)

Summary

2003-05-26: MPE 584, a B737, was ferried from Yellowknife to Calgary with the gear down because the a/c was having difficulties with the gravel guard. The flight landed without incident at Calgary at 2139Z. The nature of the gear problem is not known.
2003-05-28: UPDATE Maintenance and Manufacturing reported that company maintenance was unable to duplicate the fault in several gear swings. The cable rigging and routing of the landing gear control system was checked with no faults noted, however the landing gear selector valve was replaced for troubleshooting.
