Incident at BRANDON MUNI MB (CYBR)

Summary

2003-05-14: C-GXBO, an FTU Cessna 172, departed Brandon on a cross-country flight to Gimli and shortly after takeoff, the pilot reported that the a/c had an abnormally high voltage reading. He elected to return and the a/c landed uneventfully at Brandon.
2003-05-15: UPDATE Maintenance and Manufacturing reported that a faulty regulator and a broken wire at the alternator caused the high voltage situation. The wire was repaired and the regulator replaced. The a/c was returned to service same day.
