Incident at FORT SMITH NT (CYSM)

2003-12-02: Aerodrome Safety advised that they contacted by telephone the company, Big River Air, the Airport Manager at Fort Smith along with Jim Windsor with the GNWT Airports Group. This was in an attempt to get the East/West portion of Taxiway Charlie in front of the hangers changed to an apron. This would virtually eliminiate these unnecessary and time consuming events. To date this office still awaits word from the Group at GNWT regarding the proposal.
2003-05-14: The pilot of C-GJRO, a Cessna 172, taxied onto Taxiway C at Fort Smith without calling the CARS O/C to advise intentions.
