Incident at REGINA INTL SK (CYQR)

Summary

2003-05-12: The Air Canada A320, C-FLSF, was on a 10 mile final approach to Regina, SK. The crew selected Flap 1 and received an ECAM message indicating a slats fault. The slats did not extend and the crew followed the ECAM direction and recycled the flaps. The status did not change and the crew flew a wide VFR circuit to complete checklist actions. The flight landed with no slats at Flaps 3. Maintenance found the right slat actuator overload indicator tripped. The indicator was replaced and the slats functioned normally.
