Incident at SASKATOON / JOHN G. DIEFENBAKER INTL SK (CYXE)

Summary

2003-04-30: C-FIJZ, a Lake LA-250 Renegade, departed Runway 27 at Saskatoon and shortly after, the pilot informed the Tower he was unable to retract the gear. He elected to return and landed without further incident at 2017Z. No assistance was required, AFF was not required and there was no impact to other aircraft. The cause of the gear problem is not known.
2003-07-30: Maintenance and Manufacturing reported that the owner advised that the aircraft had a hydraulic pump failure. The gear was hand pumped down and the hydraulic pump replaced.
