Incident at CALGARY INTL AB (CYYC)

Summary

2003-04-29: The crew of Jetsgo 124, an MD-83, reported a bird strike on takeoff from Calgary. Wildlife staff inspected the runway and found no remains. It was raining at the time and no significant bird activity was noted. The Calgary Airport Authority has a comprehensive wildlife management program in place and staff are on duty from 0600 to 2300 every day.
