Incident at WINNIPEG / JAMES ARMSTRONG RICHARDSON INTL MB (CYWG)

Summary

2003-04-15: The Perimeter Airlines SA226-TC, C-FIHE, was on a scheduled flight from Norway House to Winnipeg Manitoba. When the landing gear was selected down on arrival into Winnipeg, the main landing gears extended, but the nose landing gear remained retracted. After a fly-by of the Tower to confirm this condition, the crew conducted an emergency gear extension and all three landing gears extended to a full down-and-locked condition. The aircraft landed without incident. The landing gear was washed, inspected, and lubricated. The inspection revealed no defects and the aircraft was returned to service.
