Summary

2003-04-09: NWA 843, a B757 enroute from Anchorage to Minneapolis declared a medical emergency while approximately 160 NM northwest of Winnipeg. The crew advised they would land in Winnipeg even though the flight was overweight with 40,500 lbs. of fuel. Emergency services were alerted and an ambulance called. NWA 843 was vectored for Runway 18 and when 10 NM final, the crew advised the Arrival Controller that the company had requested the flight continue to Duluth. The passenger now appeared to be stable. NWA 843 commenced a missed approach at 1847Z.
