Incident at HIGH LEVEL AB (CYOJ)


2003-04-01: At 0136Z, Edmonton ACC requested High Level FSS to get an altitude on CNS 615, a Metro III which inbound IFR from Rainbow Lake to High Level. No response was heard on 123.25 when ACC called. The flight had been cleared to descend and was also monitoring the MF on the other radio. At 0138Z CNS 615 reported descending through 3,200 feet. When asked about the earlier call, the crew reported that the number 2 radio was no longer working and they did not hear the call. The aircraft landed without incident. No impact on ACC operation.
