Incident at CALGARY INTL AB (CYYC)

Summary

2003-04-09: UPDATE Aerodrome Safety reported that the aircraft had been cleared from the vicinity of Piedmont Hawthorne Shell at Calgary to Runway 34 via Taxiway Alpha and crossed Runway 25 without authorization. Another aircraft which was on a long final approach for Runway 25 at the time was not inconvenienced nor was there a risk of collision. There were no reported issues with the airport lighting, markings, lines or signs.
2003-03-31: The pilot of C-FILJ, a Beech Duke, located on the southwest ramp at Calgary, called Ground Control for taxi clearance for departure. The aircraft then taxied to Runway 34 via Taxiway Alpha, took a wrong turn on the taxiway and crossed Runway 25 without clearance. The Ground Controller advised the pilot of the error. No operational impact.
