Incident at EMPRESS AB (CYEA)

Summary

2003-03-28: The Air Canada Airbus 319, C-GARG, was operating as ACA 778 from Calgary to Chicago. While in cruise, in the vicinity of Empress, AB, the crew and passengers reported an electrical burning smell in the aft third of the cabin and faintly on the flight deck. Galley power was turned off and the smell seemed to dissipate. The source of the odour could not be determined by maintenance.
