Incident at LA RONGE (BARBER FIELD) SK (CYVC)

Summary

2003-03-12: C-GZYJ, a Cessna 310, was on approach at La Ronge after a flight from Ile-a-la-Crosse when the pilot reported an unsafe gear indication. He did 2 low passes over the airfield and the gear appeared to be extended normally. The a/c landed uneventfully and the pilot shut down on the runway so the passengers could be deplaned. The pilot then taxied the a/c to the ramp. The cause of the unsafe indication was a broken wire on a gear microswitch.
