Incident at THOMPSON MB (CYTH)

Summary

2003-03-10: NWA 71, a B747, was at FL 310 enroute from Detroit to Narita and 50 miles northwest of Thompson when the crew advised Winnipeg ACC that they were diverting to Winnipeg. A passenger was experiencing a medical emergency (suspected heart attack). The crew dumped approximately 100,000 pounds of fuel and the flight landed on Runway 36 at 0026Z.
