Incident at EDMONTON INTL AB (CYEG)

Summary

2003-05-14: UPDATE Maintenance and Manufacturing reported that during a flight to Helmet, BC, the left hand windshield inside pane cracked. The crew depressurized the aircraft, decended to a lower altitude, diverted to Edmonton (CYEG) and landed without further incident. Company maintenance replaced the windshield and the aircraft was returned to service.
2003-03-05: C-GBVX, a Beech King Air 100, was enroute from Calgary to Helmet, BC when the crew advised Edmonton ACC that the a/c had a cracked windshield. They elected to divert to Edmonton, where the flight landed uneventfully. No emergency services were required.
